Styled Shoot: “Dance With Me” Elopement Wedding (Texas)

Husband and wife, Nick and Jasmine, never would have imagined their first dance leading to THE first dance. Nick and Jasmine met one evening at swing dance lessons; destiny led them to be partners in the ballroom and they instantaneously connected. Continued dance lessons brought their moves, and love, to a beautiful al fresco wedding in Big Spring, West Texas.

In this Styled Shot, which was modeled after their real elopement ceremony, this glamorous couple chose to be obscure from their ritzy lifestyle and went with a minimalist, green wedded day. The venue, an open aired wooded area, provided the perfect back drop for the couple’s dance floor within the hidden, magical woods.

The vendors in this styled shoot came together and designed an early summer palette of a light cyan and crepe pink, which worked out well with the cloud-covered afternoon surrounded by greenery.

Jasmine’s open back, white floral gown with chiffon overlay, was breathetaking. The dress is paired with velvet and satin, crepe pink heel that completes the look with a beaded flower crown and braid wore by the bride. A simple, yet etiquette forged bouquet of Texas Wildflowers from the venue itself ties the beautiful look and earthy venue together perfectly. Nick looked handsome in a modern grey vest and suit with a cyan bow tie swings.

After the wedding ceremony the newlyweds savored their raspberry and lemon infused cake. The cake is garnished on the surface with its own bouquet of fresh white roses and green bulbs.
